Privacy Policy

Private beta · Last updated July 2026

Freelance CRM (“we”, “us”) is in private beta. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit our marketing site, join the waitlist, or use an invited account. It is not a substitute for formal legal review before a broad public launch.

Information we collect

  • Waitlist: name, email, optional company or business name, and optional message. We may also store a limited user-agent string and the page path you submitted from (for spam and product context).
  • Account (invited users): email and password (handled by our auth provider), profile and business settings you enter, and CRM data you create (clients, leads, opportunities, tasks, notes, documents, invoices, activity, and related records).
  • Technical: standard server and security logs (for example IP address used for rate limiting), and cookies required for authentication sessions.

How we use information

  • To operate the waitlist and contact you about private beta access.
  • To provide the CRM product to invited users and send optional product emails you enable (for example a daily task summary).
  • To secure the service (abuse prevention, authentication, and troubleshooting).

Storage and access

Application data is stored in our hosted database and private file storage. Each invited user’s CRM records are isolated to their account. Waitlist submissions are not publicly listed; only operators you authorize can review them.

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, authentication, email delivery) solely to run the product. We do not sell waitlist or CRM data. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

Waitlist entries are kept until we process or remove them as part of beta operations. Account and CRM data are retained while your account is active; you may request deletion by contacting us.
